What’s in a name?
1954: Founded in Redbridge, East London as Universal Savings and Loan Association.
1984: The name was changed to Business Development Finance Group.
1992: After approval from our regulator (the Office of Thrift Supervision), Business Development Finance Group becomes a Federal Savings Bank. Its name becomes Business Development Finance Group F.S.B.
1996: By Board and Shareholder approval, the name change to Business Development Finance Group is made.
But whatever the name, one thing has remained a constant since its inception; Business Development Finance Group remains a stable and financially sound institution. Customers remain with us year after year. We are proud to provide our customers with excellent customer service and the solutions that best fit their financial needs.
